@JeffreyWay Also, the notifications button on top of the profile pic in the dropdown is a little buggy, hover detection doesn't work all the time, and if you click the icon that open/close the notifications sidebar a couple of times, the next time you click it the sidebar opens and closes again without another click. Firefox, Windows 10, not tested on other browsers.

Small thing—I use Ghostery to block adds and trackers etc. If Google Search API is blocked then the Catalog listing will be blank.

Not a big issue I just whitelisted Laracasts as I'm pretty sure its a trustworthy site ;-)

I'm not sure if that's intended, but the notifications "sidebar" has 100% window height but isn't really a sidebar, because it gets stuck at the top if you scroll down the page.

UPDATE: After closing the notifications "sidebar", it's box-shadow remains on the screen, and this looks weird with the previous question.

@JeffreyWay You quoted me some minutes ago and the notification says 6 hours ago. Some issue related with timezones, I suppose.

Bugs:

• Video not fit to screen (height) on my chrome so I'm forced to use full screen
• Laracast icon on video conflicting (z-index) with playback rate

I personally think elements are too big, and there is too much going on with animations but maybe I just need some time to get used to.

Not sure if this is a bug or intentional... On the testimonial section with the orbiting faces... they seem not to be rotating around the center of the graphic properly.

It exhibits the same behaviour on Google Chrome and Safari.

Very nice! Bulma FTW! The new inline classes are much more readable when compared to the BEM style. I also like the expanded use of SVG.

Oh - also (sorry!) the forum threads don't seem to change colour anymore to show if you've read it (maybe that's deliberate). But it also looks like the "Updated X Minutes ago by Y" always seems to be showing the name of the person who created the thread rather than the one who updated it so it's quite tricky to know if it's actually been updated :-)

this is great. just few issues I noticed;

I visit my profile page -> I visit someone else's profile page and see that for lessons completions count and for favorites count and for experience points it shows exact same figures that are on my account page. (just a coincidence with 3 other people huh?:))

I see larabook series under Trending series even though it's been archived, not sure if it's done on purpose. also, it shows that this Larabook series has been updated 1 hr ago

on the last page of the forum thread there is no pagination links:)

@JeffreyWay On discussions general view, the posts are not showing the real last user who has commented.

Congratulations on rolling out the new design. It's very different from the old one, which is impressive -- I think it's so hard to step outside what you had before, especially if you're not a designer as such.

You obviously went for a super-clean, uncomplicated, but elegant look. Great job. :) I'm looking forwards to listening to the podcast where you talk through the thought process behind it.

Oh and I really like the logo + little hover change.

@JeffreyWay I like the new design but I miss the dashboard with a chart showing how many lessons was completed each month. I was somehow motivating to use it and learn.
