This is stunning. Amazing work. Congrats on the deployment and thank you for bringing the autoplay back.
I miss that Back to the future bg on paid lessons =)
Very clean look, well done :)
And as was suggested, a dark/night option would be fantastic!
Wow, so fresh design! so professional! Brilliant :)
@JeffreyWay: The new design is really cool, flat and fresh and I like it. I just have one complainment: does really every element needs some transition? It was cool when I first opened, now already becoming annoying.
Very very nice new site :)
But it is normal that this
is not sorted by date?
I have this order:
- SEP 20TH, 2016 • INTERMEDIATE • 01:14:36
- NOV 15TH, 2016 • INTERMEDIATE • 10:08
- OCT 14TH, 2016 • INTERMEDIATE • 02:01:38
- NOV 11TH, 2016 • INTERMEDIATE • 7:13
- NOV 10TH, 2016 • INTERMEDIATE • 14:32
It is possible to order it? I don´t see a filter for that.
Thanks
I've noticed the tab key no longer works when posting on the forum in code blocks. The cursor jumps out to the link for GitHub-flavoured
Yay ! - looks great !. Thanks :-)
How long you make it? wow looks fantastic!!
Awesome, Thanks.
can't find community links now
@JeffreyWay i was just listening to the new episode of Laravel snippet and i just saw the new look and i think you did a great job! so far i'm loving it!
Great job ... very modern look
Very nice design, really like it. Good job Jeffrey
I'm loving the new design!
One notice, the login-modal is in the HTML even if you are already logged in. This made LastPass buggy because he tries to log you in each time (if you have the auto-loggin enabled).
Nice :)
Wow!! Good job Jeffrey! The new design is really amazing!!
I Love these new Pants. It will take just a while to get used to this lighter color.
Great Job! That Logo :)
Loving the new design Jeffrey, really nice work!
One thing I noted is that the menu on mobile is acting a bit weird. I had a look in dev-tools, and it seems like you switch between display: block and display: none on click. However, it does seem to lose focus right after I click it and closes.
I've been playing around with Bulma on a personal project, and I got it to work as expected by toggling the .is-active class on the ul.nav-menu on click.
Have a great day, regards.
I like the new design! Only the difference between the white and light gray are so minimal that they are hardly visible on my screen.
Could provide you with a screenshot.... haha
@JEFFREYWAY, the community links are hard to find, I think you will look into that, But I like everything else mostly the Logo.
Another (very) odd one. If I open a forum thread in the same window (ie, regular click) it looks fine. If I "open in a new tab" then the header looks kinda odd. If I refresh the page it looks ok again.

This is on FF49 on Linux - but I think it was doing the same thing on MacOS too, I just put it down to css being 'realtime' updated last night.
Love the redesign.
It's a bit weird though that both Laracasts and Laravel News place href to "Community Links" in the footer. Any chance we'll have a one ultimate (and easy to find) place to post and discover links on Laravel related topics?
Hi Jeffrey,
Great design , couple of very nice UI upgrades. One that I do not really get is the "stream" . You mixed series + lessons together and it is less clear. I miss the chronological list of only lessons so you can quickly see what is new. Now you have to figure out what date it really was posted .. sep 20th ? or November 15th... ah no , one is a series the other one a lesson. Could be more clear :)
Eg: Learn Redis Through Examples Series: 7 Episodes TOOLING • SEP 20TH, 2016 • INTERMEDIATE • 01:14:36 ADD TO WATCHLIST
Fetch In Progress Articles Learn Redis Through Examples - Episode #7 TOOLING • NOV 15TH, 2016 • INTERMEDIATE • 10:08 ADD TO WATCHLIST
Wow, this is really nice!
Nice work Jeffrey - really feels clean .
One question, has liking and reporting someone's comment (and best answer) been removed?
I'm on a iPhone 6 and don't seem to see any of these buttons in both Portrait and Landscape, yet I see a best answer for this thread
Very elegant. But who's Todd?
Search Problem :
I tried to search for Laravel 5.3, which has given suggestions and I did choose whats new in laravel 5.3. After I hit enter, I got the results which are not related. try the following link @JeffreyWay
