@malfait.robin yes, it's the best one I've found. It has everything you need and it's really light and easy to use. Wish I had terminal on Windows, that's really a big drawback.

@toniperic yeah, i'm a Linux fanatic and the switch to Windows is quite a pain to be honest. linux = terminals galore... Windows = cmd oh my!!... i really need to invest in a mac.

@JeffreyWay glad you like Spark, it is a very neat little app. Great for opening docs/commands as well as apps.

@5pArxz take a look at cygwin for windows. I find it more intuitive than cmder, etc. It is really linux like environment for windows:)

Just changed over to mac from linux, so I can't really add anything that hasn't already been added. I'm loving reading what everyone is using, and have already come across people using useful apps I've yet to hear of. So thanks!

I am curious...are any mac users using a tiling windows manager on their mac? It may not even be possible. I've heard of moom and and currently using Better Touch Tool but in linux I was using a tiling windows manager called i3wm, and have never been more productive more quickly

@specialneedscertified I use Spectacle when I'm working on my Macbook, and I've used Divvy in the past.. both work great.

For those looking for a windows terminal check out ConEmu by a dude by the name of Maximus5.

Will solve most of your terminal issues.

Creator/Developer is also very active on StackOverflow etc and so is accessible for help if your having any issues or complicated setups.

Can even do the iterm tilde "trick" although I found binding it to CTRL+~ caused less hassles.

For using the command line on Windows, I installed Git for Windows, which includes Git Bash. This is by far the best command line tool I have used!

I "host" Git Bash in ConEmu (the program that Cmder is also using), just to tune it a bit :)
