Laravel Valet for Catalina and older macOS

Is there any chance that Laravel Valet could unslave itself from Homebrew, since Homebrew does not support older macOS. For instance, I use Catalina and I cannot use Laravel Valet because of Homebrew not supporting older macOS. It is a terrible situation, frankly :(
