Help for Request!!

good afternoon... I have a question, i am program in php and ajax with the framework laravel, everything is working fine, but today i realized the if the user click in the save button and doesn't see any change and click again in the save button, it save twice, how can i make sure that the user click only once and wait for the Request finish? please can some one help me??
