I have this gist which I have created to have an initial workspace with Laravel and Docker Compose. It has been easy to follow Jeffrey with this setup, so I though it may result useful for someone else.
Anyway, I would like to see some official way to work with Laravel and Docker / Docker Compose.

I don't know if this is helpful to anyone, but I just saw the new self-guided course by DigitalOcean on Kubernetes includes a section on how to setup Laravel with docker-compose.
