Phantom unseen replies

Hi, I see "phantom" replies here and there. In threads list I see a thread that is replied while there are no answers inside the thread.

I saw this in several threads last days, here the latest one: https://laracasts.com/discuss/channels/general-discussion/do-e-commerce-backend-apis-need-a-lot-more-work-than-a-clone-of-twitter-or-stackoverflowcom-in-terms-for-portfolio-projects

I see a thread is answered by @JussiMannisto: Screenshot1

I go inside to see the answer and don't see any replies at all: Screenshot2

Yeah, I can't see my own reply, so I probably replied twice 😅

But I've found posting on this forum to be buggy ever since I started a few months ago. I keep getting errors like "incorrect captcha" and then I have to refresh the page and retry 3-4 times before it works.

Right now I can see it too. But at that moment it wasn't seen, for sure. I checked and double checked from another computer.

There are a couple of threads in Feedback telling about the same problem: users don't see their recent replies in threads while replies counter increments and replies are seen in user profiles.

Even in this thread a reply from @hectorfoster 40 minutes ago is not seen while it can be seen in his profile and my notifications pane.

Yeah, it's definitely cache-related. Something Redis related. We migrated to Laravel VPS recently, and I'm pretty sure it's related. Working on it now!

@hectorfoster's post wasn't visible because it was spam.

I could post here other cases I notice, if it helps. Should I?

This is still going on.

Most frustratingly when you reply to a post and cannot see or edit the reply you created.
