An idea to reward the Legends of Laracasts

@JeffreyWay Could you make it possible for power users on here to add a "buy me a coffee" link to their profiles or something?

Some of the folk on here have helped me so much and it is ALWAYS the same dudes, day or night. They are incredible.

@Mick79 Beatiful idea. But personally I would rather that the money went to open source maintainers. I know the amount of work that goes into keeping this eco system alive ❤️

@Sinnbeck I agree. I know of one great open source project that can use some help, it's freecad. Url is: https://github.com/FreeCAD

I use this myself. Of course there are others, but the work these guys did is amazing.

@mick79 thank you so much for mentioning me and of course the others, but I'll tell you how I look at it.

One time @jeffreyway reminded me we were all new to this at one time, which made me reflect back to when I was brand new to programming, so realistically I enjoy helping those who try to help themselves. However I do not like the ones that don't try and only want to copy and paste.

And of course you are one of those who really put effort into coding and try before asking a question, and that is great.

Also many things here on forum, I actually learn quite a bit, in this field we are always learning new things.

But I will admit I am very old school.

Edit:

And of course there are others who really help a lot, I'm not going to mention everyone but one example is @tray2 he added some real good tutorial links on basic databasing to help people.

But honest I am not trying to leave anyone out that example just came to mind at the time.
