Valet 502 Bad Gateway

I'm trying to get Valet set up on a new machine. I've followed the usual installation steps but when I try to load any site with Valet I'm just getting a 502 Bad Gateway response.

I've looked at the nginx logs but they're empty. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place for the Valet nginx logs?

Any help would really be appreciated.
