Vps with cent os

Hello there!

I made an app with laravel and socketio etc... It works on local host but now I want to get vps with centos.

Now its different for production I need to do what exactly to make vps secured?

Also from using shared hosting you have cpanel and its all apps like webmail etc.

Are there some free user interfaces that can help me out in the start? Can I make my own UI in laravel or php (like UI for webmail)

I found something like webmin and virtualmin...

If you can tell me every thing I need to think of in vps it would be awesome. Not how to do it just what I need to do.
