Updating answer - mention user

Today, I noticed the following: If you update your answer, you can't mention an other user with the @somebody notation. Or is it just me?

Level 13

Well, you don't get auto-complete for it, but the mention still exists. Not sure if it triggers a notification though.

Level 7

Yeah, it's just the auto-completion which doesn't work and I didn't receive a notification.

Level 20

Probably so that someone you've already mentioned doesn't receive a bunch of notifications if you decide to correct a few typos in your post?
