Some users posts appear twice

Yes why my comments are displayed twice?

This bug has been happening for over a year unfortunately. I reported it back then but i don't think Jeffrey has found what is causing it. And they are just displaying twice. They are linked.

@gcwilliams Your first posts for me show you with 44k XP, but your second posts only 100 XP, I don't know how XP is stored etc but it's as if a LEFT JOIN is picking up a second record

@JackJones Yeah it shows that, but I think the 100 XP is just a default the site shows. It is not two posts, just one, showing twice.

Jeffrey definitely needs to look into this. Hey at least it's not a customer transaction where customers are being charged twice each time. That would not be good.

These are the bugs from hell, where there's no sane explanation, at least not right away. My guess is that something went wrong upon registration that messed up the DB. Assuming it happened from the beginning.

FWIW: : I signed up a few days ago, yesterday I accessed Laracasts from a different PC and forgot my password, so changed it. Could it be to do with p/w change?
