After some initial confusion, on reflection, I've been BUSY

• Built marketing site for https://microtools.app (Laravel app)
• Updated https://XMLflow.co.uk to automatically collect files from SFTP source (Laravel app)
• Created an accounting page for above using tailwind and Laravel-Livewire
• Created landing page for https://sixtokens.com (Laravel app)
• Altered https://speakernet.co.uk so that visitors can search for speakers that give on-line talks (Laravel app)
• wrote a newsletter emailing platform and hooked it up with Amazon SES (Laravel app)
• mailed 3000 people using the new mailer
• added new items to http://rotary1220.org

Now need to double-down on SixTokens

That is impressive. I get to keep up. My kids are not giving me the space 😆

I pass with success my Laravel Certification :)

Who provides laravel certification?

I'm still working during the day (from home instead of office), so I this is what I did during business hours :

• Complete rework of the transactional core of our big confidential project that should be out by the end of 2020/early 2021 (Laravel app / in progress)
• Added countless functionalities including a shareable link of your custom configuration and a complete store manager order experience to the "new" Lefevre goalie hockey brand's customizer (saying "new" because they have been manufacturing pro goalie equipment for CCM, Reebok and Koho for the past 20 years or so before going solo in 2020) Link: https://customizer.lefevregoalie.com/ (Laravel app with a Vue based customizer)
• Bugfixed a website programmed by another company that was passed to us. (Joomla app)
• Bundled and submitted a news mobile app that we developped to the Google Play Store and App Store (React Native mobile app)

During my evenings :

• Working on contributions (that will be submitted soon) to the Nova Ajax Select package including a multi-parents implementation, support for a text AJAX field and an added optional "selected" key in the select type response to determine which option should be selected based on your own logic.
• Gaming
• Spring cleaning

Laravel Certification

You need to pay 250 euros and pass an exam.

@snapey do you know COBOL, COBOL programmers are needed all over now it seems like. An article said that COBOL still drives 60% of all large accounting and financial business systems in the world.

@jlrdw No. My last place still uses Cobol and has about 5 devs, but I never programmed there (I managed). Up until Jan 2020 I had not programmed 'for a living' since 1993.

@jlrdw It also pays a lot, but is a pain in the ass lol.
