Laracasts on Chromecast

Honestly, have no idea. Anyone have information on how that works?

Other than that, not sure if it can just stream normal content from videos without an app made

If you have an iPad, you can stream through the airplay and Apple TV, Chromecast can display your browser tab or mirror your screen to the TV. I use it frequently. There is a mirror option of chrome after you install the app on your browser. Streaming the entire browser makes videos choppy in my experience, just a nice thought I had which would be cool...

@JeffreyWay I'm waiting for that, I think that is simple, and might work in PC browser too, like youtube.

Talk to pocketcasts they do it from the browser. Works great. I was just looking for the same feature while looking after my son. Multitasking.

Any development on this? Because casting from mobile phones (Android) is not possible (anymore) and mirroring is choppy and terrible at best.

Instead of building it yourself, as far as I can tell, you use vimeo, create a deeplink to open it in de app. from there we can cast it. I don't have a solution for keeping the scores, but I am not that familiar with Vimeo.

See it as the download button.... it's a quick solution but I don't mind not having scores kept.

Attempting to do the same thing today. Normally I would watch on computer but since I'm recovering from surgery I wanted to push it to the TV instead so I can relax while watching.

If it's difficult to implement, I understand that it will likely not be done. Just wanted to add my voice & use-case to the list.

I'm using Huawei phone, there is a Easy Projection connectivity feature that allow me to casting my phone to a smart TV with TVCast feature via wifi. I had tried it and it work great. I think it should work with most of the android phones nowsaday also have tvcasting feature.

I would really really like this too so I can watch EPs on the tv. When I do from computer I often get distracted

I would literally watch so much more if I could cast the videos. Because I get distracted on phone or computer
