Forum discussion pagination at the top too?

Unless I'm derp'ing here (and I admit it's definitely a possibility) and missing a simple way to do this, I don't believe there is a way to navigate to different pages of a discussion thread until I get to the pagination at the bottom.

Not sure if this is by design to make you "check" all the posts before being able to jump over to a different page of the discussion?

It would be helpful to be able to have access to the pagination at the top of a discussion.

Thanks!

Agreed! On longer threads having to scroll to the bottom when you know you've already read the first however many pages is inconvenient, especially given how long some of the pages can be with code examples and all.

I've seen a few threads where people asked for this feature but it was never implemented. Maybe this time we will get pagination on the top of the thread!

I agree, I myself have asked for it a couple of times. Not sure why it hasn't been implemented yet; from a UX standpoint it is a must.

Makes me think that there's a specific reason for it then. :)

Agree. Also find the flash message when updating a post very annoying

I guess I haven't felt that it's much of an issue. Command + down takes a half-second.

I have no problem putting pagination links at the top. Just need to find a clean place to put them.

@chrisburton - Okay, I've switched that out to a simple non-intrusive notice.
