Download Tutorial Source Code

I am very satisfied with the lessons from Laracast, And happy with my subscription,

Unfortunately i find my self coming back to the same lesson to remember how Jeffrey did something on a specific situation,

This would not be necessary if there was an option to download the source code of the tutorial project.

For example:

I just finished the First App series, And there's a ton of information that makes me come back all the time.

This would make it easier for the users, And would save a ton of bandwidth. :D

Let me know if it gets implemented.

+1. I would love that too. That way I can go straight to the code and look for specifics!

As much as I agree that it would be handy i'm sure Jeff does this consciously. I imagine people work along to the episode, and write the code up with him. IMO writing the lines of code out yourself commits it to memory 10x more efficiently than just watching.

That said (I'm a hypocrite) because the majority of lessons i watch i'm nowhere near my keyboard. :)

I agree @karlos545 Ultimately coding along with Jeff has helped me learn more than by simply watching. It would still be nice to have Jeff's original version of the project though.

Agree with @csuarez. There have been times where Jeff has made a quick edit without saying anything and it has slipped by, would be nice to have some source code easily accessible to compare if I can't figure out what went wrong.

I agree with you guys on the coding along. But have u guys seen the dmca app? He builds it like a machine lol.

I only hope to write as fast one day. I tried keeping along but no success cauz i had to pause every 10 seconds. Lol.

Ive also checked github and found some of the screencast apps there. This helps a lot thank u all for taking a time to point it out.

Cheers

@opheliadesign @csuarez Hands down coding along is the place to go. Rewinding. Paying more attention. Typing. Seeing what you type.

There are things that i'd wish @JeffreyWay would release code for, like say, the awesome forum he's built, but lesson source is not one of them. Imo, of course.

@sid405 I always code along. But like I said previously, there are times things slip by and it would be nice to have some source to reference. It's also fairly standard for this sort of platform, Laracasts is the first large scale tutorial site I have subscribed to that does not offer easily accessible source code.
