Display Error on Laracasts Series Video Count

I realize it's kind of a small thing, but could you adjust the query on /series so that the episode count includes only the episodes available to watch currently? I hit that endpoint fairly routinely to check for new content I might like/benefit from, and it's frustrating to see the count jump up only to find out when I click that the first of those videos becomes available in 3 days (for example).

Alternatively, is there a way to be notified when there is new content? An RSS feed maybe? Thanks!
