Cant create new discussion when in 'Social Feed' section
@jeffreyway if you are on https://laracasts.com/discuss/feed then its not possible to create a new discussion as the 'Channel' dropdown isn't populated.

Also, if you have any requests for that section, let me know. I still have a bit more work to do in that area. One thing I'd like to add is some basic filters to hide activity items that you don't care about.

@JeffreyWay one suggestion. Don't add a (1), when you tag someone you follow. I get notices that @automica was tagged when it was me :)

While you're here... not related to the Social Feed. But would love for some of the hidden things on mobile to be shown. I know I'm not the only one stalking... i mean using the forum on mobile...

@JeffreyWay, looking snazzy around here! Love that the badges are now showing in the forum, the search box on mobile, the subtle sizing changes, and recommended suggestions everywhere.

@jeffreyway can you revert the change for the two buttons on the landing page so the 2nd goes to 'All threads' not 'social feed'?
on mobile its really difficult to get to discussion link as left nav is hidden. Seeing 'all threads' would be much more useful as default.

@automica I'm going to keep it as it is. But this coming week, we'll have some mobile improvements to make forum navigation much easier.

Maybe it's just me, but I would prefer not to see when someone I follow (e.g. Jeffrey) is followed by someone else. It would be nice to opt-out of these.

@jbloomstrom You already can. Click on the filters button and unselect "Followed"
