No one?
Anyone building with Statamic?
Watched the series here. It looks kinda cool. I like that is got some history. Thinking of moving my Wordpress blog.
Have you used it? What are your thoughts?
@webrobert I didn't use it myself but I found that more jobs have Statamic in the skills sections.
@MohamedTammam, yeah I didnt realize its been around a decade or so. I see a lot of pluses. I have kept my blog (and a few others) on wordpress simply because it was the best solution available for the use. But maybe its time for a change.
Never used it and cannot recall anyone ever getting help on it 😱
they have their own forum ish. But the videos say its built over laravel so it shouldn't be too hard to grasp. It seems pretty smart. I particularly like the idea of all the code and content being under version control (for a personal blog). I built my wife's site on wordpress last year and the worflow for wordpress isn't elegant.
@webrobert yeah it seems nice. And I have seen it mentioned on Twitter. But strangely no one here seem to use. I am unsure why.
Lots of people use Statamic! The community revolves heavily in our Discord Server — there are ~5k devs in there.
Unfortunately there's no way to watch keywords (that I know of) in the Laracasts forum so it's hard to jump in here and answer things that come up.
@jackmcdade ! I actually just installed via lando and I think I’m taking the plunge. Loved your series by the way.
Also I’m pretty active here. I can @mention you if/when they come up.

I'm trying to learn it. I think hiring a good technical writer for the Docs would be a superb move. It seems like a good idea in its infancy.
@Griehle yeah, im having a mixed experience so far. Good call, the docs don't seem to well-organized, or something. that said, I think its pretty cool. A decade in or whatever. I'll finish the build and maybe do a write up.
