Have you looked at your error log for more information on the 500? I think it may be related to your DB connection's collation/charset.

Adding an emojis to profile description shows 500 error page
Hi @JeffreyWay
Yesterday I was updating the profile description of the Laracasts. I had added some emojis to it. When I hit save it throws 500 server error.

@Braunson This is something not from my end. This something at the end of Laracasts.

@dhpandya I don't think we support emoji for your profile description. But I just tried it out and didn't get a 500 error. I'll keep looking into it, though.

@JeffreyWay It Still gives me the error. when using the emojis in the profile description. Below are the steps to replicate the issue.
- Visit settings -> Account settings -> Short Bio
- I'm on windows 11 and using the default tray for the emojis
- I updated this 🧑💻and hit saved.
- It shows me 500 page as shown above in the URL.
