Need help using Vessel in Production

We are developing a Laravel app which is deployed using Vessel. I have a couple of questions about using this in Production.

Firstly is it meant to be used in Production?

Secondly, How do you get it running when the server restarts? On my Dev machine, I go to the folder, and run ./vessel start How do I configure my EC2 instance to run this automatically when the system starts? (I should say that this application will be used only in certain times, and the EC2 system is on during only those times).
