My Forge server (AWS) is getting frequent GET requests from "masscan" on various IP addresses - it seems to have brought the server down briefly in the night. The log entry says it comes from github (??) "robertdavidgraham/masscan". Does anyone know anything about this?
lol, that package can "scan the entire internet in 5 minutes" ...sure assuming the entire internet is comprised of IPv4 addresses.
Get in touch with AWS support and figure out how to blacklist the source. Sounds like they're trying to DDoS your server maybe. idk
Try to figure out a way to throttle requests if they are spoofing IPs.
