Godaddy, Digital Ocean and Forge ?

Hello community! I'm going to buy a domain from godaddy.com and will use digital ocean for web-hosting for my website. I have few questions, please guide me so that I can get the right path.

(sorry if they are silly questions.)

1- Is that okay with buying domain from godaddy and use digital ocean for web-hosting and forge for server management? 2- How many sub-domains can be generated from a domain? 3- Which tools should I use for SEO to get ranking in google search ?

Please guide me so that I can make a good carrier with laravel.

  1. Yes, it's what I do for some of my sites. All you need to do is point your domains DNS in GoDaddy to the nameservers of DigitalOcean. Then setup your domains in the networking area of DigitalOcean.

  2. As many as you want. I don't think there is a limit. Just set them up in DigitalOcean and Forge

  3. I am not sure what you are asking here. Tools to monitor your SEO? Use google's webmaster and search tools as a start. There are plenty of other paid tools you can use, but these will get you started.

Thanks @bheath for answering! I am asking about how to increase the searchability of my website. Like how to use meta tags ? I never used them. How many meta tags should be used maximum. Please guide with other techniques if you know about them.

I have purchased the domain name from Godaddy and using Hosting Raja as my web hosting provider for past 1 year. Their services are good up till now.
