Any thoughts on Servebolt?

I'm looking for a high performance hosting service for a high traffic application in production, and I stumbled on Servebolt (https://servebolt.com/platforms/laravel-hosting/). I've already created a testsite, and it seems very fast indeed.

Does anyone have any experience with this provider (stability, support, etc.).

Why use anything except Vapor when you need high performance?

I'm also looking into Vapor, but I have a few doubts. First of all: I have no idea what to expect from the extra AWS costs. And second: I want to be able to get support from a human.

With Vapor you will have support from Laravel team and from AWS. I think that AWS is more predictable regarding expenses than other services. Also you pay what you use.

Your definition of high performance is probably different from mine, but when I want high performance I do not care about the price.

I do not really care about the AWS costs, but my client does! Anyway, although this discussion is very useful, and I will look into Vapor, this does not answer my original question. I was hoping for some first hand experience with ServeBolt from the Laravel community.

Sorry but I do not have experience with it. It is normal that you do not care about AWS costs since you will not be paying them. Try to explain to your clients that Vapor/AWS setup should give them least amount of problems and that it is first party product from the creators of Laravel. Find way to make them see the up side of it since it should also help developers focus on product and not on setup. In the end time is money. Also that way they will not have to hire system admin down the road and that is a huge chunk of money they will save over time.
