What's your favorite hosting for Laravel?

Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to Laravel, learning more and more each day and having a blast with it. I've recently decided to give hosting Laravel apps on Heroku a shot and was surprised at how simple it is to deploy there. I'm sure it has it's downside also, which I'll find out sooner or later.

So more curiosity than anything else - what's your favorite place to host your Laravel apps and what makes that solution better than any others for you?

I get annoyed when using Heroku to deploy my applications so I quit using it, I still have my cards to use AWS EZ2 or DigitalOcean than other thing.

Or if you're too lazy enough you could use Laravel's Forge.

But having a full control, that is the most exciting part to handle production servers.

Honestly with the price of cloud hosting with full 100% control I don't know why some people/clients use shared hosting anymore.

Anyways the app requirements and locations are what I go by. If I can get away with linode or DO I do. Aws is great but huge learning curve and can be a lot more expensive.

I haven't dealt with dedicated boxes for years now, but an option too.

How about whatever it works OK on. I have one non-profit site on GoDaddy and I have not had any problems.
