Problem date in homestead

I am using homestead, I am having trouble of the date it will not coincide to my localtime, it always return to 1 day ahead of my localtime.How do I change the time so that it will coincide to my localtime.

Homestead is configured to use UTC out of the box - this is for the host, PHP, and database servers and conversion between timezones ought to be handled at the application level.

For the same reasons as @deringer mentioned, I haven't personally set a servers time via command line. I would assume it's sudo date 20150920 or similar date string.
