Deployment to Namecheap

Hey guys I'm stuck and I need your help.

  1. I have a Laravel website with tailwindcss that I want to deploy to namecheap. I followed a tutorial the first time where it seemed to have worked but I could only load the first page. I then deleted my files and tried again, it seems to be getting worse. I don't how to go about this.

  2. I'm also facing a challenge with the Vite part and tailwind. I don't know how to make tailwind and vite do their thing.

I feel dumb at this point. Please help

@jlrdw Thanks. Let me check it out. I've also been wondering if I've messed up my server with all the commands that I made

@dennisoverlord start over if needed. Also see in namecheap has their own tutorial.

I put main laravel out of web.

@dennisoverlord It’s difficult to help without any specific problems or errors to go off of.

Upload your files, and then address problems one by one instead of just uploading, starting over, uploading, starting over…

Are these 'low cost' solutions really worth the meagre saving, if any? It's like people want a Rolls Royce of an application but they want to drive it down a dirt track...

@dennisoverlord as someone who just moved his last project off shared hosting, I highly urge you to save yourself a whole lot of hassle and annoyance and think again about deploying your project on shared hosting. All of my projects are now on digital ocean droplets. They are almost as cheap as the junk shared hosting I was previously using, but a million times more flexible.
