I would do the Laravel 6 course. If there are topics you think you need in the 5.7 course that have not been covered, then you can always back-fill with individual 5.7 lessons. The framework is only subtly different between the two.
Laravel from Scratch 5.7 or 6.0?
Hello fellow Laravelers,
After I finally finished the PHP Practicioner series I can't wait to get started with Laravel. So naturally I headed over to the Laravel journey and found that there are two Laravel from Scratch's to be found. I know that the content is usually structured in an ordered fashion, but in some parts of the journeys you can choose which series to take. I looked at the content of both series and I saw that the 5.7 seems to be a bit more of a detailed explanation of what's on offer with Laravel.
So my question is with which one should I start? Is it still recommended to start with the 5.7 and then migrate over to 6.0 after you finished the first one?
I am sorry if the question seems rather mundane, but I am a bit confused and I'd be extremely grateful if someone could help me clear up that confusion :)
Best, Philipp
