Accepting payments using Stripe

Hey.

I currently live in Israel which Stripe doesn't support. I'm planning to launch a website where I want to accept payments. I'm probably going to open a bank account in a country which stripe does support and operate from there.

What should I pay attention to? I'm planning to accept payments and I guess I will need to print some report each month for taxes? I've never really done that before. Do I pay tax based on where my bank account is or based on where my user is paying from? I just don't know how to it works and had really hard time trying to understanding that from Stripe's website.

Also, any recommendation which country I should open the bank account at?

Thanks!

why not you are using paypal instead of stripe? Of course stripe brings lot of flexibility for developers, however, use paypal while you dont have any other suitable option.

@tisuchi Paypal's currency conversion rate is really bad. The fee is 3.9% + fix rate based on the country. Also, as you mentioned, Stripe is really developers friendly which is a selling point for me.

Anyways, the thing is that I'm going to register the company not in Israel but in Euorpe/USA anyways.
