The time ago link on the forum index page doesn't take note of this fact.
This is the same problem with Newest Reply button at the top of the page.
Edited: It looks fixed, but it doesn't work a few seconds ago.
@michaloravec Ya jumping to newest reply was not working when my last reply started a new page. It does work now.
Pagination doesn't work in Popular This Week and Popular All Time sections.

@jeffreyway The biggest gripe for me so far is the new site’s broken a pretty fundamental browser behaviour: when I Cmd + click on the time a thread was last updated (to see the latest post), it both opens it in a new tab but also in the original tab.
It was just that single link that had an issue. Every other link on the site behaves like normal.

@jeffreyway one thing also that has changed, is how quick the 'my participation' data is updating.
Previously, any updated posts immediately showed on this link, but now there is a longer frequency before this updates. I guess a bit of caching is good to reduce your DB load, but can you reduce it so that its < 5 min as its a bit hard to keep up to date with which threads I'm 'mining' now.

@jeffreyway Clicking the buttons that change excerpts on the forum index page will also change your site preference about Float Video Player (Picture in Picture).
Hmm - I just tried it out several times. Can't reproduce that.
First disable Float Video Player and then change Forum Excerpts by clicking on the button for that on forum index page. It will automatically change Float Video Player to enabled as well.

Always after 10 minutes.

Hey @jeffreyway as you said in a previous reply to keep it coming I have one long issue that I don't know if it is a bug or a not.
Since the notifications tab was introduced, I never received any in-app notification.
Not sure if that is supposed to work at all, but when I click my user avatar and click on the notifications tab on the popover menu I never saw anything different from:
You have no notifications at this time.
I wondered once if that is due to my handle containing a dot. I thought on changing it once, but was afraid to lose all mentions and references.
Not sure how or which notifications one is supposed to get, I assumed when someone mentioned me, or replied to a thread I am watching, a notification should appear there.
I always use the "My Participation" filter to track my participation on recent threads. So this is not something I bothered to ask as Laracasts provided me so much knowledge throughout these years.

@jeffreyway This page was cached for 24 hours before. Now after a few minutes, the data on the page are refreshes.
@bugsysha I rewrote the leaderboard controller and forgot to exclude myself from the result set.
@michaloravec It's only cached for an hour at a time now.
Then note * updated daily. should be * updated hourly.

In what context? I receive spam reports every day. Everything seems to be working.

I've been trying to decide whether I should subscribe to laracast or not. Decided to go through the free intro first, then decide. While chapter one, installation, worked fine, chapter 2 made me realize that he is describing installation and structure of laravel 4 while I just installed 7 on my machine. Question: Is laracast this outdated? It doesn't help me much to learn all about laravel 4.

@linakesh Are you somehow watching an ancient archived series on this site? The latest laravelfromscratch.com series on this site covers version 8 of the framework.

But do watch the authorization videos from the version 6 series.
