Can you tell us what these "strong arguments" are? I use both 6 and 7 for production projects.

Start with Laravel 6
Hi All,
I need to start a new big project using Laravel. So far I was using Laravel 5.5 LTS.
I think Laravel 6 should do the work as it is almost one year old at the moment. As I checked all mostly used packages support v6 already.
But my co-developer has strong arguments saying it is not production ready and has some issues though. Guys, What's your recommendation?

Laravel 5.5 is already out of support with only security patches being supplied until the end of this month
Laravel 8 will be out in September

I think nothing could be worse than codeigniter.. i would gladly take YII if i had to choose between them - and thats not even knowing NOTHING about YII
