Deploying laravel project on a hosting site
I'm deploying my laravel project for the first time, its not really an actual website that I'm gonna build up and maintain, its just a school project that I need to deploy for presentation purposes. I posted 2 weeks ago and someone recommended digitalocean hosting with the lowest pricing of 5$. I don't have any experience in deploying a project, so I'm asking for further advice and recommendations before I make my purchase.
My project has 1 database, it has download and upload feature. I'm just putting this here cuz this might be a relevant information.
I tried searching for some tutorials but it's kinda overwhelming because there's a lot of stuff that is happening and some choices to make like in digitalocean there's a selection that includes LEMP and LAMP. So I'm asking for some advice because I want to make some things clear first before I make a purchase.

@Tray2 I see, the thing that is confusing me though is the bash command, so I'm using windows can I run it on cmd or powershell?

@kramsuiluj you can use the program putty to handle the ssh stuff

@Sinnbeck I'm on a selection with some choices "Deploy a PHP (LAMP) server" or "Deploy an Ubuntu server", it's the Ubuntu one right? Sorry for such a basic question I just want to be sure.
