You can use brew extract which is one of the developer commands. However, it looks like [email protected] will be available soon as CI is passing on the PR for it.

brew : reinstall php7.4 instead of php8.0 ?
Hey,
I made a brew upgrade today that installed php8.0 on my Mac ...
It's too early for it and compatibility with Laravel and packages not ready.
I tried going back to php7.4 but can't find it ?
Did php brew install [email protected] => no
and when doing a "brew search php", I can't find php7.4 (only php7.3 and previous versions).
Any idea on how to get back to 7.4 with brew ?
