Livewrie button not run the funtion found in component

i Have Variable showCreateForm = false , so if u run the function createCategory the variable must go true and if i click again will turn false again ,

so i do that and go to the blade and make a button to click on it but nothing happens , it's a dead button , ( i treid both button and link

i did all you mention there and make sure more than 100+ time and nothing i dont understand why the button is dead , if i click on any other element it produce kind of request or network trafic in inspect elements but he dont
