Elasticsearch or Solr with Laravel?
Hey Jeff,
I've requested this before, but thought I'd chuck it here too.
Any chance of a video/series on integrating Elasticsearch or Solr with Laravel? We all have to do this at some point, and solarium still makes me want to pull out my hair, must be a easier solution right? And who better to teach us than Mr Way himself!
Anyway, hope you will consider this!

Not a full tutorial, but this presentation by Ben Corlett from Laracon EU got me thinking about ElasticSearch http://www.slideshare.net/bencorlett/discovering-elasticsearch. The video is on the Laracon EU site http://laracon.eu/2014/. His use of model events to populate the ES index is something I just started playing with.

Agreed - that video above not only came as a timely interrupt for me as i working on implementing search using SQL queries in my app, but it's also a great introduction to elasticsearch.
