Hi @jeffrey,
I, superly (new word?), appreciate your tutorials and all your lessons. It is truly the best for Laravel. Jeffrey I have a question for you. Have you thought about it and/or has it ever come up that you could offer a premium membership? I am already subscribed to your normal membership, but I am hoping to suggest is that you could offer a higher level of membership. In this membership level you could teach more complicated things or rather full course on building a larger system. For example: like how you built @Laracasts.com (a complete complete series), from membership to billing to support. I know that your website platform is quite complex and I have also build large systems, website platforms. What video series I would appreciate would be a start to finish of a new platform and provide videos that lead up to a complete platform. If you read my achievements will notice I have watched complete series and many of the single videos. For sure, it has been invaluable to me and building my architecture background. Your video courses, platform goes into depth of Laravel like no other platform period. I know this because I have been through multiple sites and courses which fail in comparison. What could truly bring your platform further would be the advanced topics and longer courses that lead to larger projects. It goes without saying that something like this would totally benefit more advanced developers to further their knowledge and experience as well as help advance their careers.
@jeffrey, I could also offer my assistance or time in developing a new section to produce such type of video libraries.
One of my latest endeavours was in creating a custom modules package that I use to extend our Life Insurance platform. That was a complex project, but it proved quite useful in extending our platform. Most of what I came up with was a result of learning from your videos over the past ~2 something years.
I used to code in Codeigniter from 1.0+. When I found Laravel as a better MVC+ framework, what an amazing change. Although I could figure most things out, but the more complex core parts of Laravel I learned directly from you. Yes, I am an accomplished developer and software architect, I really appreciate the concepts and design principle that you teach directly or indirectly.
That being said, I would appreciate your response and look forward to discussing this with you and/or your team at @Laracasts.com.
Thank you once again.
Grateful in so many ways,
-Frank
