Nova Custom Layout

Nova came out as we were starting to build out a new management interface for both our backend administration, and our partner frontend administration. Our original goal is to use the same interface, and modify the navigation/tools the user has access to, based on roles.

In many ways Nova seems perfect for this. Since roles/permissions for resources/fields are build in, we could more easily abstract the creation of resource management tools.

Our only problem is that the specifications require a more elaborate interface than Nova ships with. This includes a layout based on Bootstrap 4.

Also, some of our pages are going to be less for resource management, and more for custom statistics, or pages for partners to download promotion material.

Is this trying to force a square peg through a round hole? My hope is that Nova is customizable enough to accommodate for this, without making it too difficult to upgrade. Also, I believe we should be able to accomodate the Tailwind/Bootstrap issue with namespaces.

Could someone who is more familiar with Nova tell me how feasible this is?
