How much does a renewal cost for Nova?

The price list clearly says,

Nova is a one-time purchase and includes free updates for a whole year. Purchase update renewals to receive another year of updates.

Okay, so how much is an ‘update renewal’, then? Is it the same $99 as just purchasing Nova for another year? Or is it a different thing? Would kind of suck if you spent $99 on another year of updates, and then there weren’t any updates during that year. Given that you’ve already paid for the Nova licence and only wanted to extend the possibility of getting new updates, that would be $99 completely wasted.

Weird they didn't include this, I was put off by it and just left. But maybe I'll buy it depending what they answer lol don't wanna pay £1000 for updates when it only costs £99 to buy a new one, if you know what I mean xD
