Custom nova field like invoice number.

Hi. I want to create a nova field to store student code. The student code start with 2 digit eg, 21 follows by one digit grading number and then running number 000 - 999. This first 3 digit is some thing like series number for invoice number. My question what is the best way to implement this in Nova. I want recommendation on how the field work.

Any suggestion are welcome.
