Accessing image resources in a custom nova field

I am creating a custom field that shows various icons in a table column depending on data in the model. I can't figure out how to access the image resources I added to the custom field module. For expediency, I ended up putting the images in the main project but should I be able to put the resources in nova-components/custom-field/resources/images and access them in the vue file like ?
