Laravel vs Lumen in Single application

Hello guys , I have been developing Single Appliication with Laravel + Vue . I start learning Lumen , and I in doubt if in my new project I start wit laravel or Lumen .

What wold be the most recommended for a single app application , Monolitic Project ( one database ) . Laravel or Lumen ? Is Lumen faster than Laravel in requests ?

Whenever I have made a Lumen app, I have missed features that Laravel provides enough to migrate back to Laravel. There has never been a circumstance where I have regretted switching.

From the point of view of _the right way_ depends on what you know, how you want to structure your application, how it would be deployed, how much traffic it might see and more!!! YMMV!

I am with tykus.

Lumen sounds great, but Laravel is just easier. Most community made libraries and tutorials assume Laravel, so unless you know Lumen inside out stay with Laravel.

Just use Laravel. Microservices sound like a great idea, but unless you're already at massive scale... just keep it simple.

By the time you actually need microservices for your app, you'll be able to afford all the developers you need to build them. :)
