New Forge site stuck on forge "next steps" page

I've set up a new laravel 8 application on a new Forge site. Everything went smoothly with the deployment, but now when I access the site in my browser it keeps taking me to the default forge page that you see before you've deployed anything (screenshot attached: https://imgur.com/H8nmcgK ). I'm able to navigate to other pages I've set up just fine. I have the base URL mapped to a new page which should be showing instead, and does in my homestead environment, so I don't think its a problem in my code. I don't think I missed a step in deployment or anything but this really has me stumped as I've used Forge a good bit and never had this problem before. Any help would be very appreciated!
