I would start reading the logs because they will most likely tell you whats wrong.
My guess that the database doesn't exist or the credentials is wrong.

Migrated from shared to dedicated
We are running from shared server with php 7.4, after we migrated to dedicated server linux powered hosted by hostgator. we unable to save anything to our database via front end. can some one help me out why is this happening?

@Tray2 we are able to connect to the database via front end and the weird one is we can delete but not able to add.

@Snapey NO errors at all after migration we able to open the site as normal, we add data via front end and we even receive my "successfully added" alert then I saw that it wasn't saved at all.

@ricardo1871 could you be catching the previous database requests?
Have you checked by looking in the database with some other tool?
Is your old database still on line could you be writing there?

weird thing is that delete is working.

it may better to terminate or at least disable the old services if you have both old and new database/webserver running...

hello guys, I was able to have one table working by ticking "null" :( I don't know why I need to do that.
