Servers for hosting large volume APIs

Hi I'm Karl, nice to meet you, I just joined Laracasts and this is my first thread. I've been using Contabo in the past to host the API system we developed. I then moved to AWS which was incredibly expensive in the end and had to migrate back to Contabo and also use Digital Ocean. Although I'm quite happy with what we have, I'd love to hear if you have any ideas for good alternatives from your experience.
