Unable to ssh into Digital Ocean

I want to ssh into a digital ocean server but I keep getting permission denied after entering the login password. I have also added my ssh key manually by logging in to the server account, copy-pasting and saving it. Is there anything else I need to do?

@ramjithap I am using a mac. But is there no alternate way of doing it without PuTTY?
