View count on forum

What is going on with some of the post, some post have a view count in the thousands in a short time, like:

And it's happening more often.

For me, Laracasts is almost a few times per day, unable to load content. And post times still have issues.

@georgew I know that, but like in that post, it jumped up into the thousands in a very short time. In a few minutes, not days.

I am wondering if some other hack is being attempted.

A while back there was a hack happening in vue I think where someone could take anothers post.

I forget the exact details. I just don't trust when I see any kind of mischief happening.
