Well that is how it works. Considering your server is well configured to laravel, whenever you enter at your URL/public folder will launch your laravel app with full functionality. the laravel index.php is inside public folder.

Launch from index file
I would like to know if there is other way of launching my app by just opening the index.php file in my browser and my app is up and running
