CSRF token not always renewed (on this forum)

This has happened to me on this forum too many times - I have turned on in the morning, with a thread already open, written a glowing review to a helpful post, hit Submit and BANG - it is thrown away because (presumably) the CSRF token has expired. Going back a page leaves me with a blank post entry box, somehow it is not cached - not sure why not, because my browser does cache form data on most other sites I use when I go back a page.

So, what can we do about it? I just want to not use what I have just typed. Maybe the expiry page can show what was just posted? This isn't about the session logging me out, it's something else timing out, but not updating or refreshing the page, or warning me that I should perhaps refresh the page before submitting.
