Laravel Spark without billing or plans

Just about to launch into a new development and was thinking of using Spark as a starting framework, but as a front end to an existing billing and invoicing system.

Has anyone else stripped out the billing and user plans and used the remainder of the SaaS app as a framework for their app. How much mucking around was there to disable parts of spark and did this affect your ability to update the software down the track.

I wouldn't waste your time. It would take a while to clean up after shedding the code you didn't need. How about using Lumen? Spark is like larval 5.3 with Spark framework injected into everything. Cashier is used in Spark as well. as far as using it for swapping out subscriptions and viewing invoices...I would just use Laravel 5.3 with Cashier. It doesn't make much sense to purchase a Spark license if you are going to strip out the code.
