The changes at Digital Ocean have made this series good for concepts but useless for learning something that for many developers is complicated (servers). I tried 5 times to use Forge to move a project from local to Testing Server on Digital Ocean but was unable to do so. Ended up canceling Forge subscription and using git clone ...
Forge (and Envoyer together) offer SO MUCH promise that I was really looking forward to finally be able to use them.
What`s your problem with forge?
Did you set up your digital ocean credentials? Which error are you getting? What is not working?
I setup a server with my app which is hosted on github with forge within one minute. Dont know what are you struggling with.
I set up DO credentials, created a droplet, created a site, added in repo and clicked deploy and each time Forge told me it was unable to access repo
@jgravois But you dont created a droplet in the digitalcoean panel or? Which Repo are u using, github? You may need to refresh your token in your users profile: https://forge.laravel.com/user/profile#/authentication
